The NH School Transportation Association is the state's trade association of school districts and private bus contractors providing transportation for the state's school children. The Association has as its main purpose "the highest degree of safety in the transportation of school children", working with common intra-industry problems, and the cooperation with existing allied industries, associations, and governmental agencies for the advancement of school bus transportation. Members of the Association own and/or operate approximately 90 percent of the school buses traveling New Hampshire highways.

NHSTA Hosts Annual Meeting in Concord

NHSTA leaders, Personnel from NH DMV, NH State Police and members
attended the association's annual meeting and election at the Common Man Concord on June 13, 2023.

NHSTA board members in attendance at the annual meeting are (L-R): President Cynthia Fournier, First Student; Director Marc Raposo, Butler's Bus Service-Milford; Director Joanne Waterhouse, First Student; Treasurer, Emo Chynoweth, Butler's Bus Service; Vice-President, Karen Holden, Manchester Transit Authority, Director Su Brobst, STA-Merrimack, Director Sandy Rowe, STA and Director Laurie Young, Durham School Services. We thank them all along with those from the board who were unable to attend for their service to our industry!
2023 Instructor Development Program Graduates 35 Now Headed to Their Certification Exams!

35 Students and instructors who participated in the April 25-28 NHSTA School Bus Instructor Development Program gather at "the Rock" at Manchester Transit for a now traditional photos after completing their final day of training which focused on the proper conduct of pre-trip school bus inspections. The NH school bus industry is very fortunate to have such a committed group of rising instructors. Please join us in wishing them all luck as they get set to take their state certification exams!

No successful training program happens without a core group of dedicated and knowledgeable instructors.
